Kewl Girls

As you can see from the picture above, that’s our school’s basketball team. We may look boyish on the outside, but we’re really girly on the inside. Some people even judged us by the way we move. They said that we’re 'lesbians' because according to them, basketball is a sport only for boys. Some also said that we only joined the varsity team for the sake of having a higher social status but they’re wrong. We didn’t let these rumors affect us because none of them were true. We didn’t run 25 sprints in less than 5-6 minutes for nothing, and we didn’t practice under the heat of the sun just for the hopes of gaining popularity. Because of these rumors, we became an even more motivated team since we want to prove to the people who said these things that they’re wrong and shouldn't be judgmental.
