Blessings - Laura Story

For our CLE class, we were asked to look for an inspirational song. I chose this song because I was struck with a line from it: "What if trials of this life are your mercies in disguise?" For me, this song tells us that we can't always get what we want. We should be patient in whatever we do and we should be optimistic towards life. When we ask for God's blessing we shouldn't ask for it to be given to us right away. Just let things happen accordingly because everything has a right time. We shouldn't also expect that all blessings is to come in good forms because blessings can be seen in different ways. For instance, if we're experiencing hardships and trials in life, we should be thankful because it means that God wants to help us to become stronger, and he wants to see if we have a strong faith in ourselves and in him.
